Principal Design Manager – Roads and Highways

This multinational engineering organisation are leaders in the design and delivery of large multi-disciplinary engineering projects including Transport, Roads and Highways, Rail and Ports and have a workforce of over 80,000 based over 400 locations worldwide. The New Zealand based offices are located in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington and this role offers the flexibility to be based in any of those three locations.

The NZ based transport division is currently looking to make a number of key appointments within their engineering team and at the moment they are currently inviting applications from Principal Design Managers to help lead their Transport Performance Unit in New Zealand.

The role will offer you the chance to lead an established and experienced team of roads and highways engineers across large multi-disciplinary engineering projects throughout New Zealand. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise in highways and roads projects, business development of the division, working directly with contractors and partners and construction monitoring as required.

To be considered for this position you will have:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related area.
Extensive experience in Transport, Roads and Highways projects.
Experience in delivering large multidisciplinary engineering projects through differing procurement methods and design stages.
NZ based experience with a thorough understanding of NZ codes and standards.
A background of working closely with clients and contractors with a strong reputation within NZ.

Digital Engineering Lead – BIM

The role will offer you the chance of leading the digital delivery initiatives and strategy planning for ANZ and will also involve working closely with project managers, design managers, and engineering team leaders on a wide range of projects.

You will be responsible for providing expertise in BIM processes, implementation and help to define the BIM strategy on projects. You will be performing project set ups, promoting best modelling practice, standard tools and digital delivery workflows.
