The New Zealand based offices are located in Auckland and Wellington and this role offers the flexibility to be based in either location.

The NZ based transport & infrastructure division is currently looking to make a number of key appointments within their engineering team and at the moment they are currently inviting applications from experienced civil engineers for a newly created Associate Civil Engineer.

Principal Design Manager – Roads and Highways

Civil Engineers – Hamilton – Expanding Waikato Team – Relocation assistance offered.

Civil Engineers both Intermediate and Senior are required by this leading Civil Engineering specialist consultancy to join their Waikato team.

Structural Engineering Manager – Auckland

MDRS are currently working with a market leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in their search for a new Structural Engineering Manager to be based in Auckland. This a brand new position that has been created for a very exciting and busy looking 2021. The Structural Engineering Manager will work closely with the Auckland Regional Manager and will lead an experienced structural engineering team that is already in place in Auckland.

About the role

The Structural Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 12 structural engineers and technicians whilst developing new and existing business opportunities for the growing department.

Key Criteria

CPEng registered Structural Engineer.

Proven leadership experience, motivational and management skills.

Experience in the development and management of new business opportunities.

Experience of working across a range of residential and commercial buildings projects as a structural engineer.
