This multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with offices throughout New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Hamilton, Tauranga and Queenstown) is currently adding to their new team of Civil Engineers based in Wellington. This will be a key role within their Civil Engineering team and presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer who is keen on the Business Development / Client Engagement aspects of the role.

The civil engineering team have provided their expertise across a wide range projects including very large residential developments, transport projects, urban developments, universities, listed heritage buildings, airports and harbour and marine developments.

You will play an active role in the business development and strategic planning for the civil engineering division and as such you will be in a front row seat for progression and career opportunities as the department grows.
You will be supported by a number of civil engineering professionals and the management teams in the company’s North and South Island offices but you will be given freedom to plan your own workload and make your own day to day decisions.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of NZ based civil engineering design experience and a background of working on a range of land development projects for a design consultancy. A relevant bachelor’s degree from a Washington Accord University is required for this role.
The managers and directors are keen to maintain the tight knit and friendly environments found within the company’s existing branches and are hoping to add a team member who is looking to make a long term commitment.
